A tree plantation program covering all temples and piriven in the Hambantota district was commenced at the Mulkirigala Rajamaha Viharaya under the patronage of former Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa.

හම්බන්තොට දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ සියලුම විහාරස්ථාන සහ පිරිවෙන් ආවරණය වන පරිදි පැලසිටුවීමේ වැඩසටහන මුල්කිරිගල රජමහා විහාරස්ථානයේදී හිටපු පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී නීතිඥ නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් ආරම්භ විය.
