Nil Balakaya Cricket Wasanthaya 2010 – Hambanthota

A Cricket Tournament was organized by Nil Balakaya on the 31st March to 1st April 2010 .It was held in the Mandaduwa Ground in Hambanthota. In accordance to a concept of the Head of Nil Balakaya Namal Rajapaksa , it signifies his insight in to the importance of sports to be inculcated in the youth. In which the talents of the southern youth was personified via this event which experienced a spectacular finale.

Many valuable prizes were distributed which included Champions of the tournament – Rs 100,000.00,Runners up – Rs 50,000, Man of the Match Rs 25,000.00,Man of the series Rs 25,000, Semi finals – Rs 10,000, Raffle draw – Lucky Team – Rs 10,000, Mementoes and Certificates.


The sponsors of the prizes was Karthik Securities Pvt Ltd and Gunathilaka Constructions Pvt Ltd.The event was sponsored and coordinated by Nil Balakaya Colombo District Coordinator Roshan Colambage and Kasun Gunawardhana.
